For you child's protection as well as for the protection of other children and our staff, you will need to keep you child home if he/she has any of the following:

  • A temperature over 101 orally
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Any undiagnosed or unexplainable rashes, sores, discharging eyes or ears
  • Extreme nasal discharge
  • A contagious disease

If these symptoms develop at our center, we will isolate your child and call to have you pick him/her up as quickly as possible.

Your child may return to school 24 hours after the fever, diarrhea, or vomiting have stopped; or he/she has been on antibiotics for a 24 hour period.

Should your child contract any contagious disease as mumps, measles, chicken pox, roseola, scarlet fever, whooping cough, etc., please report it to us immediately so we can notify the Cook County Health Department and other parents that their children may have been exposed.
